I recently had to change my computer. So i reinstalled NoteSearch. But i found only one note. Where are all the notes i had before ?
Answer:
All your notes are stored in a database located in the following directories:
For Windows XP:
[System Drive]:\Documents and Serttings\[User Name]\Application Data\NoteSearch
Sample : C:\Documents and Serttings\jsmith\Application Data\NoteSearch
For Windows Vista:
[System Drive]:\Users\[User Name]\AppData\Roaming\NoteSearch
Sample : C:\Users\jsmith\AppData\Roaming\NoteSearch
The relevant files to copy are :
- NoteSearch.sdf
- NoteSearch.Window1.lic
Then Paste those 2 files in your new computer at the same location.
